Just a Thought: Something Old Something New

I only last night realized it’s been over a week sense I last wrote a blog and to you my readers … sorry. I just finished my summer internship so I spent Friday and Saturday in a pizza induced comma Sunday I remember that StarCarft 2: Wings of Liberty came out soon at the time in stories now. So I found me a copy of StarCarft and Broodwars and played the campaign again and I was lost in this until last night. I then took a break caught up on my comic this week. So here what I think I love this game  but by episode 6 level 4 I’m little aggravated and trying not to just cheat a win (by the way if I reviewed 5s the both of them).  I’m looking forward to getting SC 2 expect the review next month and Halo: Reach in September (tentative schedule). On the SC2 I’ve seen some of the trailers and WOW the cut scenes look amazing. So I feel the need to say this Blizzard get off you brilliantly creative asses and make a CG film either for WOW of SC either or both is fine by me.  On ...

In the News: 11 U.S. States vs Gaming and Kinect Has a Price

So I was looking around G4TV.com yesterday and I stumbled across this Article that states that Connecticut had joined with California and many others states in a supreme Court cases about a law that would Ban the sale of M rated games to minors. I laughed about this for a little bit mostly because every time I have bought a M rated game I've been asked my age and that the ESRB defines M rated games as not suitable for any one under the age of 16. This is just another attempted for law maker to look good but they are ignoring what they really should be doing. I openly hope that the supreme court rules against this law. I also Advise parents to look pay attention to what their kids play stop buying your 8 year old GTA. The ESRB is there for a reason so use it. Parents you don't let your kids watch R rated movies then why do you let them play M rated games. here is my reminder to everyone what the ratings on game mean and how they relate to move ratings eC - Early Childhood ...

In the News: Dragon Age II

Image
Thursday July 8, 2010 Bioware announced a sequel to its hit game Dragon Age: Origins. I waited almost the week before I talked about this for many reasons. One there was no info out their other than August issue of Gameinformer, and B I had not received my copy of said issue. Well today I check the Dragon Age wiki and saw the news board had been 5 new stories about Dragon Age II. So I now feel that I can talk about this with an informed opinion . I’ll start with the announcement and the new site. The site http://dragonage.bioware.com/da2/ (go on click the link) offers an image of a very barbaric looking hero (more on him below) who I assumed at the time would be like the hero in the Dragon Age AMVs just an representation of what the hero could be.  With the new site we got a few images and wallpapers plus this little bit of info : Experience the epic sequel to the 2009 Game of the Year from the critically acclaimed makers of Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2. You are ...

Just a Thought: DLC

So if their is one thing I love it's bacon... I mean it's extending the life of my single player games with DLC. But here in lies my problem you need Microsoft points or cash depending on you system of witch I have none.  I now find my self in a large problem area there are so many DLCs for great games like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. Their is also, though it has been out for a while now, the plethora of DLC for Fallout 3. what this does is keeps game alive. Now you may be asking what is D.L.C. it stands for DownLoadable Content and it's not just expansions to single player  its also new maps for multiplayer and new characters too.  DLC can bring more life into your game  I encourage people to buy more DLC and developers to make more. What brought about this little blog about DLC is that Activison Recently put back on the market The Marvel Ultimate Alliance DLC pack they where barely up to being with. Now this packs will only be up until the end of the yea...
