Robo Luchador

So 2016 well has sucked. It has been a terrible year for just about everyone. Only two groups of people(of one I can proudly say I belong to) can say hey 2016 was a good year . Those two groups are white supremacists and Cubs fans (I belong to this one GO CUBBIES). For everyone else this has been a lousy year. So in lieu of doing a best of 2016 I'm going to talk about what has me hyped for 2017. If you are at all curious about what I enjoyed best of this shitty year it will be at the end and will be a one of each of the following, Video Game, Movie, and TV show.

So in My life some of my favorite types of games, anime, and hero shows have a common theme and that theme is Mechs. Like the theme of Megas XLR says "I Dig Giant Robots", However the genre is not just limited to giant robots. The mech genre has so much cross over with fantasy, SciFi, and Tokusatsu that giving it a definition is well very difficult. That doesn't mean I'm not about to try.

So this month I started a Let's Play in Transformers Devastation and 6 videos later I finished it. Now as I play through the game my nostalgia but got press more often then I pressed dodge. So after finishing it I figured I'd sit down and review Transformers Devastation.

It's time for our next Transformers review and this time we will be looking at the 2nd of 2 combiners (so far) in the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Line. This  time we look the Decepticon Combiner team  the Stunticons and their combined formed Menasor.

To day is the long awaited and promised review of the 1st of 2 combiners in the new Transformers Generations Line. Thats right today we are looking at the Aerialbots and the awesome robot they make up called Superion. so without any more delay lets get started.

So We though we try something new this week by putting the Podcast on the Blog Link Dumb Facebook Page Russell's Twitter Daniel's Twitter Ryan's Twitter WWE Royal Rumble Ghostbusters Nintendo Marvel Collector Corps

Hello again readers, sorry for these long absence but the real world has well dropped a bomb on me.  However I’ve been back to collecting Transformers figures plus other thing here and there,  however lately Transformers has been well confusing me. The cartoon and it’s toy line was recently rebranded to include the sub title Beast Hunters (more on that later), and the generation line is now including figures based on the IDW comic book. After seeing these figures I was ecstatic. But I have issues with both of these lines. With Prime Beast Hunters my problem is the huge line of new figures and the introductions of Predacons (which made me happy as a Beast War fan).  I’m not too happy about how they went about it.  The introduce a clone of an ancient Cybertron beast know as a Predacon (the figures call him Predaking the same name used by the G1 Predacon Combiners). The toy line would have lead one to belive that Predaking is intelligent and can transform, H...

Two Years ago I wrote my first review for the blog about Transformers: War for Cybertron (WFC). Well time has passed and the much anticipated squeal Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (FOC)  is out and I am here to share my opinion with you. Another thing being done in this review is that I am dropping my 5 point scale in favor of  a 10 point scale for two reasons. First my blog is also published at  Gameinformer.com  and they use a 10 point scale I do this to avoid confusion. Second I realized that with a 5 point scale that I would give this Game a 5 out of 5  but in my mind that's a perfect game and while FOC is far from perfect. Now on with my review. Story The story this time around is much better it is more of the epic tale we expect with this franchise. In stead of two separate but intertwined stories FOC has one overarching story that is told from different persp...

So my life has been crazy sense the last post and that has not allowed me to post any thing in the last 3 months for that I am sorry. So I'm doing an update with hope that I can at least do one a week. I am also looking into a video Review for the figures that will be posted here and to YouTube as well.  So let break this up shall we in to 3 categorize Movies, Games, TV, Comics and Figures.  OK now we will start with... Movies   The only movie I've seen that I think is worth talking is The Avengers. This movie was amazing and is a must see for every one. all the actors did the roles justice  The only one I was nerves about was Mark Ruffalo and he did a great job as Bruce Banner. This movie is a must see so go and see it Games  OK in the games their haven't been to many games I have been playing i picked up Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and now I'm playing Fable Heroes. Both Games are really good for different reasons. If you are an epic fantasy fan pick ...

For this review I have to share a story 1st. one day while reading the forms of my Fav TF news site TFW2005 I found this thread which lead me to this website to buy the items I saw on the thread. So I now give you my review of the Custom Arcee Blasters 1st off the blasters look awesome and fit really well with the figure One of the nice thing about thee design of the blaster is it doesn't prevent the use of the blades that come with Arcee The blaster can even be mounted in Vehicle mode So all and all a great buy I recommend it for any one who has the Prime Arcee I will show it off again when it is fully colored and with the FE Arcee

Hey look another Review this time another generations figure the fastest Autobot ever Blurr. This figure as designed based on the artwork from IDW Spotlight Blurr and the earth mode he took in The Transformers monthly comic. Vehicle Mode Blurr's Vehicle mode is a sleek sports car is similar to his comic design. In this Mode Blurr rifle is stored on his under side This mode is Sleek and fitting of Blurr Robot Mode Blurr's robot more is very well designed and carries references to many past Blurr designs In his robot mode Blurr has 3 weapons his long range rifle stored on his back and 2 pistols holstered in the doors. Now with the 3 weapons you can bake a bi-podded sniper rifle Now one thing I want to talk about it is the head sculpt this sculpt is one of the best art worked based sculpts I've see on any toy and the most accurate as well to the comic book Comparison Now you may be saying he looks a lot like Drift and you would be right. Blurr is a rem...

Ok it's time for another review and this time it is WFC Cliffjumper Yeah him but not him at the same time. This is the Fall of Cybertron (FOC) Cliffjumper and this figure was made long before the game was. So to star the Review we will look at Vehicle Mode Cliffjumper's vehicle mode is the small sleek compact Cybertron car. This mode is very nice and fits the Mini Vehicle design showed with WFC Bumblebee Robot Mode His robot mode is again similar to Bumblebee and the picture above but the head sculpt is different In this mode Cliffjumper has two weapons two blades in his forearms and a single gun Comparison Now as I have said this is a remold of WFC Bumblebee. the major difference in the two is mostly the paint apps and the head sculpt. Over All I give this figure a pass and I recommended it for any TF collector. So to finish off this review here are the Autobots of the WFC toys And Hasbro if you are reading this More please maybe an Iornhide o...
