Out of the Box: Transformers Combiner Wars Menesor.

 It's time for our next Transformers review and this time we will be looking at the 2nd of 2 combiners (so far) in the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Line. This  time we look the Decepticon Combiner team  the Stunticons and their combined formed Menasor.

Stunticons

Motormaster 

The Leader of the Stunticons he is a merciless and a tyrant. He is cold and brutal and only answers to Megatron.  He is a fierce commander and demands respect even by force.

 Motormaster truck mode is very nice and streamline the truck design not the alt mode itself. It fits very nicely with his G1 counterpart.

 The robot mode is awesome the transformation is simple yet has it's complexities. The robot mode while bulky is very poseable and just fun to play with.

Drag Strip

Is the formula one racer of the team winning is every thing the losing doesn't event exist. He so arrogant that if it weren't for fact he is Menesor's right arm they would of killed him.

 The F1 racer is also streamline and like all the others combiner in wave one he is has simple transformation it's very elegant.

His robot mode is also very simple and he suffers from a little kibble with the F1 nose acting as a backpack. Though I have no complaints other than that.

Breakdown

Breakdown is my favorite member of this team he is one of the most deadly member and that only because he has a acute case of paranoia. He hate the spotlight and think every one is out to get him.

This is a Lamborghini Gallardo a very powerful super care that looks amazing.

The robot mode however is not that great. The transformation is almost simple that is until you get to the legs. The legs are connected on a hinge joint at the waste this is used for the limb mode however it make the transformation and the robot mode awkward. Things only go downhill from here people

Dead End

Dead End the most pessimistic Life for in the universe. Even though he is so aware of the end of all things he is also the most vain of the group. If Breakdown from Prime is an interpretation on the G1/Combiner Wars Breakdown then Dead End counter part is Knock Out.

Here is a Ferrari 458 Italia another super car and it is beautiful the car not the toy. The grey bits are awkward and I hate racing stripes  but it is solid car mode.

With robot mode well 2nd verse same as the 1st. He works like Breakdown upper body is great  until you get to the legs everything from the knees down is awkward. Another problem with the legs is the mand/foot connector is on clock joint and instantly had a stress fracture.

Offroad

The newest member of the team who oddly meshed well with the team so much is scary. He even went as far as to take Wildrider color scheme needless to say this creeps the others out.

Now we have a truck. In a team called  Stunticons  we have a truck the others are an F1 racer, Lamborghini Gallardo, and a Ferrari 458 Italia.  WE HAVE A PICKUP TRUCK AS THE LAST MEMBER! I know the leader is cabover semi truck but thats ment to show power.

The robot mode is solid and the transformation as easy as the wave one figures. The color scheme is a little off the red and black work but in robot mode the added blue  doesn't work. I'm nitpicking  the truck and color  are not big issues.

The Team

Menasor

If Devastator  is devastating, Bruticus is brutal, then Menasor is menacing. He is meant to be the ultimate Decepticon weapon but because of the different personalities he can be beaten.

 Menasor is british and bulky this s a good thing, however when doing this it hurt the combined mode the arms are too far back the chest is well unnecessary but better than the alternative. The legs are another story they are very stiff. and little movement abilities.

 He is poseable though the legs are hard to bend because of how they are formed, and this hurts the figure.

The battle

Now both figures are great however which is better well let look at them.

Ok let look at this based on 3 thing one team motif, combine mode poseability, and  over all design. Let's Get it On !

 Ok let's get started on the team motif well I'm going to say Superion  mostly because of Offroad yeah I know they got a new team member too Air Raid  and he a helicopter that flies it fits with air motif. On Design it really a draw hear both loot amazing so tie. Now on to Poseability without a doubt Superion is the most capable of more dynamic poses.

So winner Superion. If you only had to buy one team I go with the Aerialbots. While Menesor is a awesome figure to look at if you look to close  you'll star picking it apart. The legs lack the movement Superion and has the chest and arms are positioned well weird. Superion is just more streamline.  If you're a Transformer fan and don't want to spend the outrageous price for a third party figure than he is a must have.
