Robo Luchador

Hello again readers, sorry for these long absence but the real world has well dropped a bomb on me.  However I’ve been back to collecting Transformers figures plus other thing here and there,  however lately Transformers has been well confusing me. The cartoon and it’s toy line was recently rebranded to include the sub title Beast Hunters (more on that later), and the generation line is now including figures based on the IDW comic book. After seeing these figures I was ecstatic. But I have issues with both of these lines. With Prime Beast Hunters my problem is the huge line of new figures and the introductions of Predacons (which made me happy as a Beast War fan).  I’m not too happy about how they went about it.  The introduce a clone of an ancient Cybertron beast know as a Predacon (the figures call him Predaking the same name used by the G1 Predacon Combiners). The toy line would have lead one to belive that Predaking is intelligent and can transform, H...

So my life has been crazy sense the last post and that has not allowed me to post any thing in the last 3 months for that I am sorry. So I'm doing an update with hope that I can at least do one a week. I am also looking into a video Review for the figures that will be posted here and to YouTube as well.  So let break this up shall we in to 3 categorize Movies, Games, TV, Comics and Figures.  OK now we will start with... Movies   The only movie I've seen that I think is worth talking is The Avengers. This movie was amazing and is a must see for every one. all the actors did the roles justice  The only one I was nerves about was Mark Ruffalo and he did a great job as Bruce Banner. This movie is a must see so go and see it Games  OK in the games their haven't been to many games I have been playing i picked up Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and now I'm playing Fable Heroes. Both Games are really good for different reasons. If you are an epic fantasy fan pick ...

For this review I have to share a story 1st. one day while reading the forms of my Fav TF news site TFW2005 I found this thread which lead me to this website to buy the items I saw on the thread. So I now give you my review of the Custom Arcee Blasters 1st off the blasters look awesome and fit really well with the figure One of the nice thing about thee design of the blaster is it doesn't prevent the use of the blades that come with Arcee The blaster can even be mounted in Vehicle mode So all and all a great buy I recommend it for any one who has the Prime Arcee I will show it off again when it is fully colored and with the FE Arcee

So yesterday while on my break from work I pull out my phone and check my favorite Transformers website tfw2005.com . Now while there I see a story on the Prime First Edition (FE) figures and I check it out and it basically says the one thing I didn’t want to hear about.   Hasbro for some unknown reason has canceled the rest of the FE line meaning no Cliffjumper, no Bulkhead, No Vehicon, and No Prime. So needless to say I’m a little upset but there is a bright side I will no long have three Bumblebee’s. I will get the RID Bumblebee but not the FE. I will also still get FE of Arcee and Starscream. And if all goes well I have found the FE’s of Prime, Bulkhead, and Cliffjumper on eBay. So I will try and make February a more Review friendly month with those prime figures and the 1 st of the Voltron Classics as well. As for the near future I’ve got three reviews coming up I have Generations WFC Cliffjumper, and Blurr, and I also have a custom weapons for FE Arcee.

So this week I picked up Halo Anniversary and I started playing it and the initial feeling of nostalgia wore off after a holly crap that grunt exploded and took out those two elites and the 4 grunts moment where I try out the new skull I got to thinking. Now I love Halo CE but as I play this game I realize that the only thing they took from Reach was the graphics and they are B E A U T FUL. However the A.I. got no improvements your allies are idiots that if left to drive a vehicle will run you over. the enemies are just as bad I'm not breaking a sweat with hunters at all. I now Under stand why the game got such low reviews because I expect more from now than I did then. don't get me wrong I still love the game and I'm still trying to figure out some of the games  hidden things but it brings us to my point I being to have a problem with RE's.   So after realizing my slight disappointment with this RE-release I decided to look up some news on a toy line that ha...

SO it is time for my 1st action figure review and it is The New York Comic Con Exclusive Transformers: Prime 1st Edition Bumblebee and Arcee. I picked this up from this up from Hasbrotoyshop.com .  I ordered this for 3 reasons: 1 the G1 deco Arcee. 2 i wanted to see the Jack and Raf, and reason 3 I will share at a later date. Package Ok so let talk about the Packaging for this set. I really like the package after i removed the bubble and the plastic that held the figures I'm using it as a display for these figures. it comes with cardboard building with the Light forming an N a Y and the Autobot symbol. The in the back ground you can see both Megatron and Starscream on top of a building Arcee Vehicle Mode: Arcee's vehicle mode is a pink motorcycle    The detail on the bike is just amazing. The Sculpt alone makes this a beauty. her weapons are stored on the sides of the bike but do not take away from the bike. They look as though the belong there Now you can al...

I will start this off by say I'm back and will be blogging on a more semi regular basis and second that the blog is going from a Gaming to Pop/Nerd Culture blog and now on with are show   Now this month GameInformer's cover story was on the recently announced War for Cybertron (read the review here )  sequal Fall of Cybertron. I was really shocked with this and I followed the coverage closely through the hub at gameinformer.com . Now this is awesome and I looking forward to the game but what got me really exited was that the dinobots will be playable in this game. Now I don't know about you but for that alone I'm sold. here is my fav cover art for this GameInformer So with this I headed to my favorite wiki for all things Transformers TFWiki.net and I looked up WFC and saw that it falls in canon with the New Hub cartoon Transformers Prime and what being called Aligned continuity family. This canon includes may things The Games WFC and FOC, the novels by Alex Irvi...
