So welcome to Press Start to Continue a semi regular blog where I will talk about video games both new and old. So in a recent blog on the site I talked about Lego games and made a critical comment on them.  Now I stand by that comment that other 1 st party lines need stronger games on the consoles as well as the handheld. Before I break down the Lego games as they are now let’s look at Lego’s history with video games (note this will not cover mobile or website games sorry MNOG fans).

This Week we travel deep into the woods to better understand ourselves and nature and to prove Lego > Lincoln logs Link Dump Spider-Man penies size Power Rangers Bionicle Sentai Net Neutrality

So Bionicle is back and that’s awesome 13 new sets and more to come later this year. This makes me really happy I was so bummed when it was canceled back in 2010. Now I always felt like I was part of the problem as I never bought set after the original six toa (5 of 6). Though I did buy the movies and visited the now dead site BionicleStory.com a lot and kept up with the characters and story. So as I was putting together my new Kopaka and I got to thinking how is the story going to be conveyed to the fans.  So let us begin looking into what would help the line grow and continue on.

So last blog I talk about my history with the Lego Bionicle line and how they chose to tell the story of the original launch. Now in 2015 with this new generation of figures Lego has gone back to its web roots for the line and is doing a series of animations to tell the story.  Each review will follow an image that will act as a link to the video.

Ok so recently at NY Toy Fair Lego had a huge presence at the show. They Show off their Marvel, DC Super Heroes, Lego City, Ninjago, Chima, Scooby Doo, etc. So much was there at the show from the company that created the construction toys genre, however one line stood out even to me and would of caught me by surprise (much like Toynami Voltron did) had I not seen them on store shelves just the week before. That toy line was Bionicle and now seeing at the line was going to grow in a huge way I went out and bought one with a review coming as soon as I can rebuild my light tent.

This entry of Art of the Shelf we talk about the art of Troop Building. What is Troop Building you may ask? Well troop Build also known as army building is the purchase of multiple copies of a figure to create an army of them for display purposes. This is generally done with the nameless foot solider like cobra troopers and storm troopers for example.

So this post, like my prediction, will be broken down by company talking about what each company presented at this years Toy Fair. So without further ado New York Toy Fair.

With New York Toy Fair being this weekend and I’m still not sure how I’m going to cover it; if I will do a beast of blog post or talk about it on the next week show. I figure I’d do my wish list of what I’d like to see announced this year's and talk about the  pre show  done by Mezco toys.
