Out of The Box: Pohatu Master of Stone and Protector of Stone
This time we look at Pohatu Master of Stone and the Protector of Stone from Lego's 2015 Bionicle Line. The next few masters reviews will include the protector with them as well. So without anymore delay lets get to the review.
So for this one I will start with the Protector of Stone and move on to Pohatu.
The Protector of Stone (PoS) uses the CCBS like the masters, however he doesn't feature a gear box like the larger figures.
PoS lake of gear box does not mean lake of function. His weapon functions like a gatling gun firing studs as fast as to spin the gear (be warned you will lose them luckily they give you extra).
Let's movie on to Pohatu.
Pohatu like the other masters uses the CCBS and has one mechanical arm like Kopaka.
The CCBS allows for awesome poseability. Pohatu has many accessories that include two boomerang called Stormerangs and a dagger that can be stored on his back.
he also comes with a a golden mask like the other masters
Pohatu can wear the golden mask like the other masters, also the Stormerangs can be used on his feet as thrusters.
Now both set come with Skull Spiders though these are different that before they are dark blue and have scorpions stingers
Like the others they can also be worn like masks by both
Now unlike my other Bionicle reviews you take the staff from the PoS and his shoulder armor and give them to Pohatu. Combine the staff and the dagger and place the armor on Pohatu's forearm and turn the thrusters straight along the out side of his feet
Ok final thoughts time. Both figures are awesome as for if the are worth yeah they are not as hefty a price as the last 3 reviews. Pohatu is roughly 15 dollars and PoS is 10. these are awesome figures for fans or great for MOC (My Own Creation) builders. The only major complaint about the design I have is the asymmetry of both figures is a little bit of s distraction.
