My top 5 Villians in Power Rangers

So lately I’ve been watching Power Rangers Super Mega Force (that is a mouth full to say). As much as the last season Mega Force was hard to watch I find myself enjoying this season.  Now as I watch the show and geek out over the use of the legendary Ranger powers I got to thinking about villains and I came up with my top 5 favorites. Now without any more delay here is the list. 

5. Deker

Now Deker is a sub villain from Samurai. He was once a human whose wife gave up both of their humanity to save his life. Deker sought power and to challenge those he viewed as strong as such he kept challenging the Red Ranger to test his metal. In doing so this both character where strongly developed and made for some of the best stories in the Samurai seasons.  Now another awesome fact about Deker was he could take human form.

This human form is played by Ricardo Medina, Jr. who is also known (in Power Ranger Fandom) for playing Cole Evans the Red Wild Force Ranger.

 4. Koragg, The Knight Wolf

Koragg was one of the major villains from Mystic Force. He was a dark knight who could use the same magic as the Rangers. This is odd because he the only villain of that season who could use magic. Another thing that made him awesome was that he also has a Zord and a MegaZord. His Zord was a horse named Catastros combined with Koragg to form Centaur MegaZord and  the Centaurus Wolf MegaZord.

3. Ivan Ooze  

Ivan Ooze was the movie exclusive villain, and while he really wasn't all that original of a villain he so much fun. Ivan doesn’t make this list because of how bad he is no he make this list for his one liners like, "All the things that I have missed. The Black Plague! The Spanish Inquisition! The Brady Bunch Reunion!" 

2.  Mesogog

Mesagog is Humanoid Dinosaur monster who sereves as the Mr. Hyde to Anton Mercer, the partner and friend of Tommy’s who helped create the tech for both the Rangers and the bad guys. Mesogog was out right mean and frightening to look at he also one of the few villains who punished his generals for failure.

1. Lord Zedd

Lord Zedd was the 1^st US orginal villain and not the last but he tops this list because his is the most bad ass. Zedd when he 1^st arrived in season two of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers he banished Rita and took over with new stronger monsters. Zedd was so badass it is reported that he gave young children nightmares. This was such a problem that Parents complained and he was toned down and married to Rita to make him less frightening.

 Honorable Mentions

While the following are pretty cool in the villains they could not compete with the list above

The Five Generals 

These five get honorable mention because they came out of no where in one of my favorite episodes ever "Forever Red", and look at them I bet they seem familiar don't they  that right all of these five generals are left over Beetleborgs costumes

The A-Squad Rangers

The A-Squad Rangers of S.P.D. given honorable mentioned for one reason to quote the Ranger Wiki web site page “They are the first Ranger team that turned to evil of their own choice. Not because of blackmail or brainwashing. They are also the first team with a female Red Ranger.” (here)

 The Psycho Rangers

The Psycho Rangers are one of my favorite groups in all of the Power Ranger villains so much so that they all most made the list above.  The cool thing about them is they are this impressively strong team of evil rangers that are not fakes or minions in disguise. Another truly awesome thing is inside the ranger suit is an even stronger monster.
