Robo Luchador

Ok so I've been playing with this guy a lot lately And he is awesome. Now with Luigi (my favorite character) getting announced and coming out later the year I thought about which Mario characters I'd like to see done in this figure line.  The list Yoshi Princess Peach Bowser Toad Wario Waluigi Donkey Kong Tanooki suit Mario  Kitsune suit Luigi Super Mario (fire flower) Super Luigi (fire flower) Princess Daisy Princess Luna Professor E. Gadd  New super Mario bros. Toad two pack Ok now everything from here on out would be super unlikely however would rule if it happened A Mario kart (this is not a stretch as they've done bikes for there rider figures) Weapon packs ( with hamm ers, shells, peach's frying pan, and  Poltergust) Mallow Geno Smithy Now these last three are unlikely as the characters are owned by Square not Nintendo. This is my uber wish list for the S.H. Figuarts Super Mario figures

So everyone who reads the blog and listen to the podcast knows I'm a Power Ranger Fan. Well SDCC is going on so I decided to check my favorite site  for Power Ranger news  Tokunation.com . And boy was I please with the Gallery of images from SDCC. They had a wonderful section From Bandai of America, the current crafter of US power Ranger toys. As I scrolled through the image look at the money i'm about to spend they showed off some of the Coming Dino Charge figures. I look in awe of sneak peak of this winter/next spring's figures until i found this image picture courtesy of Tokunation That zord it the Triceratops who will be piloted by the pink ranger in the new show. So I'm about to take a trip down memory lane on my twitch channel and re play Mega Man Legends. This got me thinking about my favorite Capcom games, and what could use a update like an HD collection or a sequel. Now Capcom has done HD remake and such with Devil May Cry and porting Okami to the PS3. So I thought about what other Game I would like to see HD collections/remakes. I use these games for two real reasons because they are to stepping stone that lunched both survival horror and Zombie shooter. These games have some much charm and that classic scare factor. So as a follow up to my last post and the amount of time I've been playing with my new Legacy DragonZord I thought I'd talk about what I'd like to see from the toy line from this movie. Now for this I'm going to break it down real simple each toy type will have a description of what it is and at the end I'll put my wish list. That being said lets get started. Figures This one is real simple your 5 rangers, villains, and maybe minor characters (example Alpha 5). Now I will be a bit more direct don't go smaller than 5 inches. The current line is a good example. Now  there is another big don't here. DON'T just re release old figures with a metallic paint jobs. Please create figures that match the movie design. Another type of figure that would work and could be at the same scale as the rangers would be a MegaZord figure much like the Retrofire line and be to scale with the villains and monsters. So I've been meaning to make this post for a while since the announcement of the mighty Morphin Power Rangers reboot movie. I kind of have some high expectations for this movie. I don't really want high expectations for this film but being a fan for 21 years kind of put them on a higher pedestal. So I did some soul-searching, and I came up with a list of what I'd like to see the movie do. So I broke it down into three categories of what needs done: characters, story, and Design.  Characters Rangers Okay my opinion hear me upset some fans. I'd honestly for this movie like to see five new characters. I think the movie would be better served with five new characters instead of recasting the original five because their actors iconically those characters.  However this is a great opportunity to maybe play with some of the way you betray an archetype in the movie.  Villains  Here's another area where my opinion may not be a popular one. I’ve been playing/ looking into some old game and franchise of my favorite FPSs Doom, Half-Life, Wolfenstein, etc. This got me to thinking when did competitive become more important than narrative. Now hear me out on this one my favorite FPSs have a strong narrative though many have great competitive multiplayer. However I was surprised when Wolfenstein A New Order did not have multiplayer, But then I thought about Titan Fall and it not having a single player outside of the training tutorial. And this got me thinking does a game with strong multiplayer need a single player or vice versa. I looked at the Call of Duty games every time one gets announced it is with a story trailer mind you some times that trailer and the final story have nothing to do with one another. Now Call of Duty games are famed by their multiplayer gameplay not the single player in fact there is only one of the modern Call of Duty Games that I would even say have a story worth playing (Black Ops if you were wonder...

So I love my collecting every new toy is a new adventure some better than others some worse.  Recently I have been having a rapidly growing spree with one particular brand of figure makers.  This one is with Tamashii Nations has gotten a little out of hand now Bluefin has made it much easier by having a domestic launch of many of their figures new and old however  their NY Toy Fair display and news was rather disappointing. Now with the last few months I have been looking over my preorders  and it is riddled with Tamashii Nations figures mostly S.H. Figarts line and with that mostly Power Rangers/Sentai. So I made a grownup decision what on the list right now will be the last of it I'm finishing off my power Rangers toys and the Kamen Rider stuff.  Now I'm jumping on their Naruto line because if it like the DBZ line it will take forever and become insanely hard to get quickly. I'm also keeping my eye on the Mario line as well and hopeful for more Nintendo Figur...
