This Out of the Box we look at the S.H.Figuarts or the rouge Konoha ninja Sasuke Uchiha. This is the second figure in the Naruto line and resembles the character in the later story arc leading to the series end.

Time for another Bionicle review. This time we look at Lewa Master of Jungle and the Protector of Jungle (PoJ). Lewa is the last of the Master sets for this year however there are still more Protectors to come and the villainous Lord of Skull Spiders. Now let's get started shall we

Another review is upon us but this time it's not lego it something much more darker. This time we look at Mezco's 1st new figure for their new One:12 Collective line Dark Knight Returns Batman. This line is a mix of the detail and realism of 1:6 scale figures like Hot Toys and Sideshow, with compact size of a 6 inch scale. So lets being looking at this figure. So here he is Dark Knight Returns Batman, and he is amazing the design to best mimic the art work of Frank Miller. He is a mix of plastic and cloth that works really well for the figure. The Boots Gloves and Head are all plastic . The belt is a soft rubbery material, The suit is self a light flexible cloth, and the Bat emblem is a soft vinyl. On top of all of this e also includes severals accessories.  Batman Comes with 4 sets of hands, 2 heads, a boot with gun holster, a gun, a grapple hook , a stand , a flight stand arm, and a cape poser (this is new now clue what else to call it). Welcome  back to Out of the Box this time we take a look two more Bionicle 2015 sets as we look at Gali Master of Water and the Protector of Water (PoW).

This week’s Art of Shelf we are going to sit back talk about every collector’s best friends and at the same time their worst enemies preordering. Pre Ordering is something most figure collectors do. It can be very helpful as it will guarantee the item ordered, however it can be very dangerous if you’re not smart about it.   

OK so time for the review I promised back in January the Review of the 1st wave of S.H.Figuarts Kinnikuman figures. Ok so another Bionicle set review Onua Master of Earth.  This continues our Bionicle set reviews for the 1st part of 2015 so lets get started.

So in a recent blog on the site I talked about Lego games and made a critical comment on them.  Now I stand by that comment that other 1 st party lines need stronger games on the consoles as well as the handheld. Before I break down the Lego games as they are now let’s look at Lego’s history with video games (note this will not cover mobile or website games sorry MNOG fans).

So Bionicle is back and that’s awesome 13 new sets and more to come later this year. This makes me really happy I was so bummed when it was canceled back in 2010. Now I always felt like I was part of the problem as I never bought set after the original six toa (5 of 6). Though I did buy the movies and visited the now dead site BionicleStory.com a lot and kept up with the characters and story. So as I was putting together my new Kopaka and I got to thinking how is the story going to be conveyed to the fans.  So let us begin looking into what would help the line grow and continue on.

So last blog I talk about my history with the Lego Bionicle line and how they chose to tell the story of the original launch. Now in 2015 with this new generation of figures Lego has gone back to its web roots for the line and is doing a series of animations to tell the story.  Each review will follow an image that will act as a link to the video.

Ok so recently at NY Toy Fair Lego had a huge presence at the show. They Show off their Marvel, DC Super Heroes, Lego City, Ninjago, Chima, Scooby Doo, etc. So much was there at the show from the company that created the construction toys genre, however one line stood out even to me and would of caught me by surprise (much like Toynami Voltron did) had I not seen them on store shelves just the week before. That toy line was Bionicle and now seeing at the line was going to grow in a huge way I went out and bought one with a review coming as soon as I can rebuild my light tent.
