Out of the Box: Tahu Master of Fire

Welcome to another Out of the Box where we look at Lego Bionicle: Tahu Master of Fire figure set. Let me get this out of the way before we begin. OMG BIONICLE IS BACK WOOT! Ok now let get on with our review.






 The Figure is much taller than expected and is built using Lego's Character and Creature Building System (CCBS) a system 1st introduced in the Ben 10 line and made famous with the Hero Factory line. CCBS uses an endoskeleton and with a series of shells to create armor.

The CCBS allows  more freedom of movement  and the Gearbox function allow the arms to move in opposite direction. Tahu also include may other accessories  that include: 
 Two gold swords and two large fire swords. that also become a lave surf board.

A gold version of his mask which he can wear as well


It also come with a Green Skull Spider which can also be place on his head instead of the mask 

Over all this is a great set the CCBS adds more poseability than the original sets did but it fun and the moving arms fuck does not interfere in poseability of the over. Now the set combines with the Protector of Fire who I have not purchased yet but plan to get at a later date. I will feature the combination in that review. Over all this set is an awesome buy however the 20 price may be a bit much.

So lately I’ve been watching Power Rangers Super Mega Force (that is a mouth full to say). As much as the last season Mega Force was hard to watch I find myself enjoying this season.   Now as I watch the show and geek out over the use of the legendary Ranger powers I got to thinking about villains and I came up with my top 5 favorites. Now without any more delay here is the list.  5. Deker Now Deker is a sub villain from Samurai. He was once a human whose wife gave up both of their humanity to save his life. Deker sought power and to challenge those he viewed as strong as such he kept challenging the Red Ranger to test his metal. In doing so this both character where strongly developed and made for some of the best stories in the Samurai seasons.  Now another awesome fact about Deker was he could take human form. This human form is played by Ricardo Medina, Jr. who is also known (in Power Ranger Fandom) for playing Cole Evans the Red Wild Force Ranger.

What is the Mech Genre?

So in My life some of my favorite types of games, anime, and hero shows have a common theme and that theme is Mechs. Like the theme of Megas XLR says "I Dig Giant Robots", However the genre is not just limited to giant robots. The mech genre has so much cross over with fantasy, SciFi, and Tokusatsu that giving it a definition is well very difficult. That doesn't mean I'm not about to try.
