So it has been a while sense my last post. I would apologize but it's not a lack of writing or reviewing on my part their is plenty of stuff out there in the last few weeks for me to talk about. I have hit a wall and i have had a really rough time writing. I am figuring the best medicine is to just stop and get it done. So i'm writing this update on what I've done over the last few weeks. I've been reading my normal comics and now where are too a Spider-Man related story line I've been excited for Minimum Carnage. The New TMNT cartoon aired and it's ok I like it. I played Lego Batman 2 and I love it. I Have also gone back to an old hand held gaming love Pokemon. I'm playing white version and I have white 2 waiting till I finish. I got an early BDay present just recently. I am now the proud owner of a 3DS XL and I love it Nintendo is still the best when it comes to hand held gaming. In my life there are a few passions that rise above the others one of such is my childhood love of Ninjas. No not that Orange Track suit version that come from Japan no I mean the Teenage Mutant Turtle verity. Back in May of 1984 Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird created 4 characters name after four Renaissance artists. These 4 iconic turtles have survived the test of time and much more. So I though that with the new Nickelodeon show coming up I'd take this time to look back and compare the different iterations over the years. I will look at the story and characters from the original Mirage comics, The original Animated series, the movies, the 4kids series, and the IDW comics. Two Years ago I wrote my first review for the blog about Transformers: War for Cybertron (WFC). Well time has passed and the much anticipated squeal Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (FOC)  is out and I am here to share my opinion with you. Another thing being done in this review is that I am dropping my 5 point scale in favor of  a 10 point scale for two reasons. First my blog is also published at  Gameinformer.com  and they use a 10 point scale I do this to avoid confusion. Second I realized that with a 5 point scale that I would give this Game a 5 out of 5  but in my mind that's a perfect game and while FOC is far from perfect. Now on with my review. Story The story this time around is much better it is more of the epic tale we expect with this franchise. In stead of two separate but intertwined stories FOC has one overarching story that is told from different perspectives. I wont go to much details about the plot other than to say it involves the search for energon and esc

Since it's full debut at E3 2012 Nintendo's new Console the Wii U has had some mixed results. Now sit and I'll tell you why the Nintendo Wii U is going to be a must have for gamers. Now to do this we need to talk about a few things mainly The Games, The Gamepad, and The full HD support. I'm going to start by talking about the HD support. The HD The Wii U will support full 1080p HD which was probably the biggest draw back for the Wii. I don't remember how many times I've read in a Wii game review "The graphics are good for a Wii game". I hated that line but you had to do it because while Wii games had the story and the game play to match up with the other consoles the graphics where only just better than the Gamecube. As you will see by this post I have changed the name of The Nerd Word to G.A.M.E. which stands for Games, Action figures, Movies, Etc. Yeah I know Action figures is two words but G.A.F.M.E. doesn't work. There are two reasons I changed the name one I had always meant for Nerd word to be temporary and B the name is just unoriginal. so I was sitting around think of well video games and it hit me and G.A.M.E. was born.

So I've been on a weird Mega Man kick in my last few post and this one is no different. I've had Mega Man toys in the past from both Bandai (who did the old cartoon line) and Jazwars (did the 20th anniversary line). but neither of them where all that good. So while looking at Bandai's new D-Arts Line of MegaMan X figures I found this gem by Kotobukiya . I bought their Mega Man 1/10th scale action figure model . This figure was awesome instantly fell in love the figure. He is amazingly poseable so much as I was able to recreate a famous move of his the sliding. He comes with many accessories to change up how you want to display him. the 1st is a set of 3 different faces for 3 different mood. the normal no real emotion face. A happy face for when he happy and a serious face for battle but the face is not an important accessories what is important is the mega buster the mega buster can be placed in on left or the right forearm  another accessories

There are no two thing I love more than comic books and video games. Now over the years comics have made games and games into comics. Now ever now and then a real gem pops up like Arkham Asylum. It is rare when a game gets a really well done comic adaptation. Well with my recent nostalgia into Mega Man Legends I thought to look into the new Archie Comics titled Mega Man. Now I picked up this series which is now up to 15 issues. The comic is written Ian Flynn (known for his work in the Sonic comics) with a diffrent artist every 4 issues. I wont get into the artist to much because each comic's art is so much like the official art for the series. Now the writting is just perfect the 1st 4 issues cover the original game story. With an original story in 5 to 8. Then the next 4 issues follow game two. So I've been hanging out at GameInformer.com  a lot this last few weeks and i'm a huge fan of a video pod cast they do called  Replay . Now this show takes old games and plays them to see how they've aged. Now they also do what they call a Super Replay in which they play the whole story from start to finish of a game.  Now I started watching one that made me really nostalgic for my PS1 and that was MegaMan Legends. Now if anyone knows me I'm not a huge fan of MegaMan games, but this little gem caught my attention and held it really well. Now while watching this replay I learned of MegaMan Legends 3. Excited I looked it up and I learned  that the project had been canceled. I also learned that the fans are doing there best to protest this and relaunch the project. Spider-Man has has a unique history with video games most of them bad but their have been a few gems. "Amazing Spider-Man the Game" is not one of them but is it's not a just stink bomb of a game that has had the Spider-Man name. This game is not a bad game but not a good game either it falls in the middle. If looked at as a Spider-Man game it not that great however if you look at a movie tie in game it's not bad. their are several pros and cons with this game that keep it in the middle.  The Story The story is one of the good points in this game. The story takes place 4 months after the movie and spoils a lot of plot points of the movie. The story it's self is kinda campy and fits the old comic stories in which a lot of the characters come from but still has this edgy feel of modern Spider-Man. One of the cons of the story is how some of the villains are portrayed most characters. Rhino, Scorpion, and Vermin are animals exposed to human DNA in the reverse of C

So I got the last piece of of my month of Spider-Man and that is the "Amazing Spider-Man the Game". Now I would love to review this however I'm not sure on how long it is and I also have the Stan Lee pre-order bonus. So here is my dead line if I don't have this game beaten by July 16 then I will probably not review the game. Now what I call beaten is the whole story enough of the side missions that I've got a feel for the pattern and all of the Stan Lee stuff.

First I’d like to wish my readers a happy Independence Day (the holiday not the Blockbuster movie starring Will Smith) However this blog is not about today but about what came out yesterday.
