Out of the Box: S.H.Figuarts Luigi

So welcome to Out of the Box a series of blogs that will review the figures that I am collecting.  So this entry I will be looking at S.H.Figuarts Luigi.
S.H.Figuarts Luigi from Tamashii Nations part of the Super Mario Brothers sub line. Luigi is the second release of this line following Mario.





The sculpt it just beautiful looking just like he does in promotional art work and in game renders. This how ever limits the poseablity slightly though not completely.


Luigi also comes with some cool accessories like a stand (seen above), and extra set of open hands, and a red turtle shell (THE DOOM BRINGER).


Now there is one more accessories that allows the stand to work with out a claw. This is the back peg hole. to use this there is a panel that is removeable on  it's back.
 that peg hole makes jum poses much easier to control.

Over all this is an awesome figure and if you are a Nintendo fan this it the figure for you and looks good with the Figma Link, Samus, and Pitt for Smash fans as well. So to finish this blog off here is Luigi with Mario and Diorama sets A and B

My top 5 Villians in Power Rangers

So lately I’ve been watching Power Rangers Super Mega Force (that is a mouth full to say). As much as the last season Mega Force was hard to watch I find myself enjoying this season.   Now as I watch the show and geek out over the use of the legendary Ranger powers I got to thinking about villains and I came up with my top 5 favorites. Now without any more delay here is the list.  5. Deker Now Deker is a sub villain from Samurai. He was once a human whose wife gave up both of their humanity to save his life. Deker sought power and to challenge those he viewed as strong as such he kept challenging the Red Ranger to test his metal. In doing so this both character where strongly developed and made for some of the best stories in the Samurai seasons.  Now another awesome fact about Deker was he could take human form. This human form is played by Ricardo Medina, Jr. who is also known (in Power Ranger Fandom) for playing Cole Evans the Red Wild Force Ranger.

What is the Mech Genre?

So in My life some of my favorite types of games, anime, and hero shows have a common theme and that theme is Mechs. Like the theme of Megas XLR says "I Dig Giant Robots", However the genre is not just limited to giant robots. The mech genre has so much cross over with fantasy, SciFi, and Tokusatsu that giving it a definition is well very difficult. That doesn't mean I'm not about to try.
