Out of the Box: Protector of Ice

Today we are back looking at more Lego Bionicle with the Protector of Ice (PoI). This figure is another one of the protector scale and combine with Kopaka Master of Ice.

Protector Of Ice

PoI is much like the other Protectors a CCBS build and uses white a translucent light blue to convey the element of Ice.

Like other in Bionicle line he uses CCBS how ever unlike other we have see he does not have an elbow joint on his arms for this review I modded his arms.

 By adding a trans light blue ball joint his arms become longer and he has elbow

 Additions aside he comes with two weapons a stud gatling gun and a buzzsaw shield.

With all this he is ready to face the Skull Spiders

Speaking of Skull Spiders he too comes with a silver one like Kopaka.

and like the other he can also wear it

The Combination

Now like the others you can take parts from the PoI and combine them with Kopaka and give Kopaka an upgrade.

By combining the buzzsaw and the and giving the Gatling gun in the other hand, and now Kopaka is ready for battle.

All in all  PoI is a great figure easy build and very fairly priced. If you are looking to get back into or are new to the Bionicle toy line this figure is a great place to start. The only con is the lack of elbow in the package build. The combination is also kinda weak but also a little unnecessary as the figure is awesome and if your like me you'd want him to keep his weapons so he stands out.
