In the News: No Milo For you

So while I trolled along my favorite gaming new sites I found this bit of bad news of at G4tv.com. The greatly asked about and very missed from this year E3 was Milo the AI game for the Kinect (Natal at the time it was demoed) is just a Technical Demonstration. I'm not going to lie this was the only reason I would of bought Kinect other than the wireless voice remote. Now my list of games for the Kinect is down to Ubisoft's Fitness game (forgive me if I don't remember the title). This news I think will honestly hurt the sales of Kinect, but this is still the launch who knows what the future holds for it, but with Lionhead not currently producing anything for the Kinect, I.E. the talk about Fable 3 features that are either not their or not finished and now no Milo Boy Adventurer (which is to only title I can think of for this game). To wrap this up I think we've seen the beginning of the age of the casual gamer and no sir I don't like it. So I say "R.I.P Milo you're up there with the remake of Final Fantasy VII. You looked awesome but we will never get to play you"

My top 5 Villians in Power Rangers

So lately I’ve been watching Power Rangers Super Mega Force (that is a mouth full to say). As much as the last season Mega Force was hard to watch I find myself enjoying this season.   Now as I watch the show and geek out over the use of the legendary Ranger powers I got to thinking about villains and I came up with my top 5 favorites. Now without any more delay here is the list.  5. Deker Now Deker is a sub villain from Samurai. He was once a human whose wife gave up both of their humanity to save his life. Deker sought power and to challenge those he viewed as strong as such he kept challenging the Red Ranger to test his metal. In doing so this both character where strongly developed and made for some of the best stories in the Samurai seasons.  Now another awesome fact about Deker was he could take human form. This human form is played by Ricardo Medina, Jr. who is also known (in Power Ranger Fandom) for playing Cole Evans the Red Wild Force Ranger.

What is the Mech Genre?

So in My life some of my favorite types of games, anime, and hero shows have a common theme and that theme is Mechs. Like the theme of Megas XLR says "I Dig Giant Robots", However the genre is not just limited to giant robots. The mech genre has so much cross over with fantasy, SciFi, and Tokusatsu that giving it a definition is well very difficult. That doesn't mean I'm not about to try.
