Countdown to Hyrule Warriors: Part 2

Now continuing with yesterday’s blog we are counting down to Hyrule Warrior with my top 5 favorite Legend of Zelda charters and todays is

Number 4: Minda


Minda appeared in Twilight Princess and is one of my favorite characters for two reasons. The first being she was such a mystery. Here was this little imp like creature who was more at home in the twilight than in light. The Second reason was she was constantly bad mouthing Link.  No matter what Link did she was out right mean about it. My favorite moment of this was when Link returned to Human form she outright tells you she prefers the wolf form.


Now Minda’s Role was one we've seen before. Mina served the role of adviser Like Navi and the King of Red Lions before her. The major difference was she was condescending about the role like it was beneath her that and she was nowhere near as annoying as Navi.  Now as the game went one she would warm up to Link and be a little nicer.

[Spoiler Warning]
The Biggest twist in the Game was the identity of the Twilight Princess. Early on in the game you’re meant to think that it is Zelda. As the Story went on we learned that Minda is a Twili and the true rule of the Twilight Realm.   After beating Gannon and Zant she is restored to her former Glory and returns to the Twilight Realm


I’m looking forward to seeing what role he will play in Hyrule Warrior and if her personality will be changed at all.

My top 5 Villians in Power Rangers

So lately I’ve been watching Power Rangers Super Mega Force (that is a mouth full to say). As much as the last season Mega Force was hard to watch I find myself enjoying this season.   Now as I watch the show and geek out over the use of the legendary Ranger powers I got to thinking about villains and I came up with my top 5 favorites. Now without any more delay here is the list.  5. Deker Now Deker is a sub villain from Samurai. He was once a human whose wife gave up both of their humanity to save his life. Deker sought power and to challenge those he viewed as strong as such he kept challenging the Red Ranger to test his metal. In doing so this both character where strongly developed and made for some of the best stories in the Samurai seasons.  Now another awesome fact about Deker was he could take human form. This human form is played by Ricardo Medina, Jr. who is also known (in Power Ranger Fandom) for playing Cole Evans the Red Wild Force Ranger.

What is the Mech Genre?

So in My life some of my favorite types of games, anime, and hero shows have a common theme and that theme is Mechs. Like the theme of Megas XLR says "I Dig Giant Robots", However the genre is not just limited to giant robots. The mech genre has so much cross over with fantasy, SciFi, and Tokusatsu that giving it a definition is well very difficult. That doesn't mean I'm not about to try.
