Profile: The Hero of Winds

Another console generation From Nintendo came with hopes of a more epic Zelda. That loveable little lunch box known as Gamecube promised just a game. This tech demo made fans excited and just a few year passed and we got the next chapter of the Zelda franchise in the Wind Waker.

Name: Link
Age: 14
Motivation: High

This Link though looks like something out of a saturday morning cartoon is up there in terms of character and motivation.  This link whole adventure starts with his Birthday and earning his hero tunic as a sign of coming of age. After investigating a girl being dropped by a huge bird. That same bird then grabs Link's sister he sets off with pirates to find her. This is one of my personal favorite games and this links motivations grow more and more. It starts out a personal quest to save your sister and grows to the epic quest to save the world. Now this wasn't this Link's only outing after saving the world Link and Tetra, the girl from above and this games Zelda, set off to find a new land for the people of Hyrule. During there adventures Link and Tetra encounter a phantom pirate ship. Tetra then disappears after boarding the pirate ship. Link tossed out to sea must set out to find her and stop the phantom ship. The Motivation for Phantom Hourglass is less personal than wind waker it's still very much in that vain. This Link like all the others is very noble (That arthurian knight theme again). Though not apart of his motivations this link was the most expressive Link.

Legacy:
This Link's Legacy is kinda awesome because along with Tetra he discovers and new land and reestablishes the kingdom of Hyrule. That  Hyrule wouldn't be seen until Spirit Tracks and that's a whole different Link., however that link will have to wait until later because next time we take another Co-op journey with the Hero of Light.
